Setting up an eSIM takes about 2–3 minutes. All you need is your phone and WiFi. Here's exactly how.
Before You Start
An eSIM-compatible device (iPhone XS+, Samsung S20+, Pixel 3+)
A stable WiFi connection
Your eSIM QR code (sent via email after purchase)
Phone must be carrier-unlocked
1
Purchase Your eSIM Plan
Browse plans, select your destination and data amount. After checkout you'll receive a QR code, a manual activation code (backup), and plan details via email.
Tip: Purchase before your trip so you can install while you still have WiFi.
2
Install on Your Phone
iPhone:
- Settings → Cellular → Add eSIM
- Choose "Use QR Code" and scan
- Label your plan (e.g. "Travel Data")
- Set as data line, keep primary for calls
Android:
- Settings → Network & Internet → SIMs
- Tap "+" or "Add eSIM"
- Scan QR code from email
- Enable for mobile data
3
Activate at Destination
- Ensure eSIM line is enabled
- Enable Data Roaming for the eSIM
- Set eSIM as primary data line
- Phone connects to local network automatically
That's it — you're online!
Troubleshooting
QR code won't scan?
Try entering the code manually (in your email). Ensure you're on WiFi.
No network after landing?
Toggle eSIM off/on. Enable Data Roaming. Restart phone. Manually select network.
Can't find 'Add eSIM'?
Phone may not support eSIM or may be carrier-locked. Check with your carrier.
